Short answers to what engineers ask most. Anything else, ask us directly.
AutoCAD Civil 3D 2024. The import, rules, analysis and validation steps work without Civil 3D; only the final deploy needs it.
A WaterGEMS export (the network drawing as DXF/DWG plus the Pipes, Junctions and Tanks FlexTables) or an EPANET .inp file. For the terrain: LandXML, a points file (CSV/TXT) or DXF.
No. It rebuilds your network in Civil 3D and adds the valves and fittings your rules ask for. The hydraulic results stay in WaterGEMS.
Validation lists every problem with a code and the element it affects. Errors block the export to Civil 3D until they are fixed, so a broken network is never deployed.
Yes. Valve, fitting, profile, spacing and assembly rules are all editable, and you can save them to a file to reuse on the next project. Part mapping links each component to the Civil 3D part you use.
Modules that are already in the product but not released yet. They will be released one at a time; the home page lists them.
