The rules for using this website and the EGS IS software.
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you (the person or company using EGS IS) and EGS InfraStudio (“EGS IS”, “we”). By installing or using the software, or by requesting a licence, you accept them.
You may use this website to learn about EGS IS, download it and contact us. Do not try to break into it, overload it or send automated requests to its forms. Prices and features shown can change; the price that applies is the one we confirm in reply to your request.
EGS IS is licensed, not sold. A licence lets you use the modules and period named in your licence file, on the PC it was issued for. We keep all rights in the software, its code and its content.
The 7-day trial licence is for evaluation, on the PC it was issued for. It is provided as is.
While your licence is active you may install the updates we publish. Updates can add, change or remove features.
EGS IS is a design aid. It does not replace the judgement of a qualified engineer. You are responsible for checking every result, drawing and quantity before you use it, and for meeting the codes and standards that apply to your project.
We work hard to make EGS IS correct and reliable, and we fix the problems you report. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, the software is provided “as is”, without other warranties.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profit, delays or lost data), and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the licence in the twelve months before the claim.
The licence ends at the end of its period, or earlier if you break these terms. When it ends you must stop using the licensed modules. Your own project files remain yours.
EGS IS includes open-source components under their own licences; their notices are installed with the application. AutoCAD and Civil 3D are products of Autodesk; WaterGEMS is a product of Bentley Systems. EGS IS is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction. If one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the version in force when you buy or renew a licence applies to that licence.
