License → Start Free 7-Day Demo unlocks the module for a week, offline.
Choose it in the Workspace picker and work through the ribbon from Project to Validate.
When validation passes, use Export to Civil 3D.
In the application: License → Request a License. It fills in your Device ID and sends the request to us. You can also use the form on this site. We reply with a licence file for your PC.
License → Activate, then choose the licence file. No account and no internet connection are needed.
EGS IS warns you 7, 3 and 1 day before the licence ends and shows the days left in the status bar. Renew opens the request form filled in with your details.
The licence checks the date of your PC. If the date was moved, EGS IS says so and we can reset it with a new licence file.
EGS IS checks for a newer version when it starts and from Help → Check for updates. You choose Update now, Later or Skip this version. It downloads, verifies the file, asks about unsaved work, installs and starts again; your licence, settings and projects stay. Help → Update channel switches between Stable and Beta.
